Ben Breedlove: A New Online Hero
The internet has a new hero: Ben Breedlove. The young man recorded his final videos in recent weeks, in which the Austin teenager smiled warmly and he also flashed index cards as he shared his fears and hopes about his lifelong battle with a heart condition. Then, it took his life on Christmas Day.
The cards, which were allegedly written by Ben Breedlove, said that he was never allowed to play all the sports that his friends did. The cards also said that it was kind of suck that he missed out on that part of his life. Ben Breedlove added that he really just hoped that he could be the same as everyone else.
