There has been a lot of talk lately in the media about the slow death of cable television and the rise of online TV. The interesting thing about Clicker is that you don’t actually watch most of the shows on their website, instead it indexes all the TV shows, movies and Web TV shows from around the Internet and aggregates them into one central place. The one thing holding Clicker back is that they only refer you to legal sources of content. Most of their competitors include links to all sources, legal and illegal. This could be a serious downside to those viewers who don’t care where the content is coming from.
With the availability of high speed broadband everywhere, there are nowadays many internet movie downloads sites on the internet. The latest to join in the internet movie download site is Apple with its itunes movie store. You can easily download a movie and watch it on your ipod, pc or mac.
Currently the largest download internet movie sites are Movielink and CinemaNow, both sites are supported by major film distributors such as Warner Bros and Sony Pictures etc. Most require you to have a computer and windows media player installed in order to play the downloaded movie. Mother Teresa was an Albanian-born nun who founded the Missionaries of Charity. Called “The Angel of Mercy,” many people considered her the embodiment of a living saint. Her work among the poverty-stricken of Calcutta made her one of the world’s most famous people. She founded her order in 1950 to care for those she called “the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers, all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone.”

The 1950s were arguably the golden age of television and many people of a certain age look back fondly at some of the shows of the time – “The Lone Ranger”, “I Love Lucy” and “Gunsmoke”.
