u don't really wanna be a poser do ya? just be yourself and if that's not emo, ur not emo. to be honest, i don't kno much about the 'emo lifestlye' but i'm assuming it's a culture thing, like the punks, the hip hop culture, hippies, etc…. if it's not u, it's not u. just leave it alone.

Urban/Suburban.

I visit NYC almost every weekend because I love the shopping and the environment in the village.

I live a little north of the city. I love it because it is peaceful and less expensive than the city.

Dislike the city because everything costs soooo much money.

Dislike suburbia because everything is too spread out.

Veterinarians typically have Saturday hours. You might not have to work every Saturday, but you will have to work Saturdays. This is especially true when you're first starting out. However, you will normally get another day off during the week in compensation. Depending on the way your clinic works, you might have some Sunday hours as well. Also, the hours that a clinic is open is normally long. The clinic I worked at was open 7-6 and all the vets were there the whole time. Other clinics are open longer hours. You can always start your own practice though and make everyone else work the weekends, but my experience is that the practice owner actually works a lot of weekends.
Expect to work about a 45-50 hour week, especially when you're first starting out.
Also, I hope you don't think you'll have that lifestyle while in school because during your fourth year you'll be on call all night long during some of your rotations and expected to work the emergency room and ICU. They will call you in on the weekends and in the middle of the night.
A psychologist pretty much sets their own hours as well, but keep in mind that both of these careers are service based and they have to be open hours that allow working people to come in.
